St Andrew's on the Terrace

The main themes at St. Andrew's will be the Christmas star and Christmas in New Zealand, with recorded New Zealand carols, readings of New Zealand Christmas poems, and Christmas books for visitors to look at. The Church is decorated with a lighted Christmas tree, a Nativity scene, Christmas flowers, and the four Advent candles. Two brochures are available - a self-guided tour of the Church and one describing the theology and actions of members. Visitors can make Christmas cards, paper stars (to write a Christmas wish), and also can have a cup of tea or coffee and a biscuit. We hope to welcome lots of visitors to celebrate with us this special season of Advent leadimg up to Christmas.
